Synergy Hockey Training Centre is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with NoBull Hockey. We are integrating our world class hockey facility with NoBull’s leading-edge development and training programs.
The NoBull-Synergy collaboration derived from a common goal: to positively affect the hockey community. This collaboration allows players to receive high level, proven training, in a work hard, no excuse, stimulating, and fun environment.
NoBull Hockey founder, Jan Ludvig, has extensive hockey experience as a former NHL player and as a senior scout for the New Jersey Devils where he helped the franchise reach five Stanley Cup finals, winning three. Most recently, Jan scouted for the Boston Bruins and coached professional hockey in Europe. Jan’s son John Ludvig has had a successful WHL career with the Portland Winterhawks and has been drafted by the Florida Panthers.
NoBull-Synergy philosophy: “Cut through all the white noise, confusion, and misconception about today’s hockey training. Yes! hockey is evolving, but the fundamentals will never change. Build your foundation first and then you can build whatever game you want to play on top of that solid foundation”
Together, we will assist hockey players build a solid foundation by combining old school training (boxing, indoor deep sand speed and agility training) with cutting-edge technology (Synthetic Ice, Skatemill) offered at Synergy. NoBull and Synergy have access to leading-edge, experienced, trusted, credible, and qualified coaches, not only within the Kamloops area, but from around the world, to offer comprehensive, on and off ice, year-round programs. This collaboration has already become an effective training tool for North American and European players.
Some words from Matt Kolle - General Manager of the Kamloops Storm: “Synergy Hockey Training Centre is a great hockey asset to our community. This facility provides our hockey players, of all levels, more opportunities for development and recreation. For the elite athlete, the staff and facility can be used as a tool to work on multiple areas of a player’s game. For the recreational player, you can build a foundation of basic skills and participate in recreational game play. This season our Kamloops Storm Hockey Club has been utilizing the staff and facility to enhance the program we provide our players. The Storm players visit the facility once per week and participate in skill development sessions. The players are not only getting better but are enjoying the process at Synergy. The community of Kamloops is lucky to have this first-class facility available”
Aside from our “by invitation only” pro-level group, our amateur and youth programs are open for all skill levels and will utilize NoBull and Synergy training facilities, beginning on February 1st, 2022. Spaces will be limited to ensure a smaller trainer to player ratio. Groups will be structured according to experience and abilities, where possible.
